Inside the film

Inside a Sunbest sunscreen film: a dive from the skin’s surface to one Sunbest-BMT molecule as a UV photon arrives, then three avobenzone films under one 12 J/cm² UVA dose, every number from the SPF Lab engine.

The dive

From the skin's surface through the stratum corneum into a sunscreen film of four Sunbest filters; one 310 nm UV photon meets Sunbest-BMT, and the energy leaves as heat, not as a broken bond.

One exposure

Three films carry the same avobenzone and take one 12 J/cm² UVA dose, the ISO 24443 dose for a film of UVA-PF 10: avobenzone alone, with EHMC, and with Sunbest-BMT. The partner decides how much of avobenzone's absorbance survives; the numbers are in-silico estimates from the SPF Lab engine, not measurements.

Inside the film

From the skin’s surface down to one molecule of Sunbest-BMT as a UV photon arrives, then three avobenzone films through one standard UVA exposure. Every number is computed live by the SPF Lab engine.

BMT accepts avobenzone’s excited-state energy before it can break a bond.
